The MS in Sustainability Science program will be hosting a special topics seminar series this semester. The series will feature speakers from the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, each focusing on a cutting-edge research topic in their particular area of expertise, all centered around the challenges of global climate change. Go and flow but not much grow: How the ice sheets are contributing to sea level About the speaker: Tim Creyts is a glaciologist and Lamont Associate Research Professor. He works on the theory of ice sheet flow as well as data from the ice sheets. His specialty is understanding processes occurring near the base of glaciers and ice sheets. His studies have taken him from the Yukon Territory and Alaska to Iceland and Greenland.
