Maureen Raymo is the co-founding dean of the Columbia University Climate School and the director of Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. A geologist who studies climate, her wide-ranging research has centered on climates of the past, and particularly how sea level has changed dramatically, and what this may presage for the future. She appears frequently in the media.
