Operations to Resume Monday

The University is open today, Monday, August 29, and staff are expected to report to work.

The Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) announced that limited bus and subway service has resumed in all five boroughs. Visit http://www.mta.info/ for information and updates.

If you are delayed in your morning commute, please communicate directly with your supervisor.

Undergraduate housing move-in plans will proceed today as planned. Students should be reassured that even as travel plans shift, we will accommodate arrivals at any time today and onward. From 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. today, students should report directly to their residence halls for check-in. Public Safety staff will be present to assist with directions and to provide information on unloading vehicles. Parents and family members will receive an updated Family Orientation Schedule at check-in. If you arrive after 6 p.m., please check-in at the Hartley Hall Hospitality Desk. The Hartley Hall Hospitality Desk is open 24 hours a day and staff will be there to assist with check-in. Student Affairs and Housing will provide additional check-in information for students arriving on Tuesday or later in a future update.
