Dozens of students celebrate festivities at the holiday tree-lighting ceremony at Columbia University.

Columbians gathered for a festive evening of a cappella performances, sweet treats, warm drinks, and a moment of illumination on College Walk. The annual tree-lighting ceremony, organized by the four undergraduate student councils (Columbia College, Engineering, General Studies, Barnard), is a beloved tradition that began in 1998 to welcome the start of another holiday season. Cheers to our community for a peaceful and celebratory season.
