The Columbia Space Initiative Rocketry team designed, built, and launched a hybrid rocket in one year for the first time in Columbia history! This past week, 20 members of the CSI rockets team travelled to New Mexico, representing Columbia at Spaceport America Cup, the world's largest intercollegiate rocket competition. On the final launch day, they successfully launched the rocket and won 3rd place in their category. They also received recognition for the avionics subteam's firing control user interface and the President's Choice award. Congratulations and aim high, Lions!
