Columbia Dining's Battle of the Dining Halls was an epic food showdown, and all the dishes were entirely plant-based, in recognition of New York City Plant-Powered Carbon Challenge. Five dining halls (Chef Mike's Sub Shop, Faculty House, Ferris Booth Commons, JJ's Place, and John Jay) each prepared a dish, dessert, and beverage, for a panel of student judges and celebrity Chef Robert Irvine. And the winners are: Judges' Choice for Ferris Booth Commons, and People's Choice for Faculty House! Huge shout-out to all the dining staff for making this food fight such a blast.
