Food Fight Champs

Several students, chefs, and Columbia Dining staff members celebrate and pose with a dining award for top prize in Battle of the Dining Halls at Columbia University.

Columbia Dining's Battle of the Dining Halls was an epic food showdown, and all the dishes were entirely plant-based, in recognition of New York City Plant-Powered Carbon Challenge. Five dining halls (Chef Mike's Sub Shop, Faculty House, Ferris Booth Commons, JJ's Place, and John Jay) each prepared a dish, dessert, and beverage, for a panel of student judges and celebrity Chef Robert Irvine. And the winners are: Judges' Choice for Ferris Booth Commons, and People's Choice for Faculty House! Huge shout-out to all the dining staff for making this food fight such a blast.
