Extracurriculars

Extracurriculars is a series within Columbia News dedicated to showcasing the many clubs and organizations that exist at Columbia University.

The group offers structured opportunities for students to engage in constructive dialogue and disagreement.

The club offers support, community, and advocacy.

All are welcome, from beginners to experienced hoofers.

From rehearsals to teaching to performances, dancers have myriad opportunities at the student-run group.

The largest STEM organization on campus offers everything from launching high-altitude balloons to building rockets.

Anyone is welcome to put on skates, get out on the ice, and have fun.

By providing a creative outlet for its members, this dance club offers joy, movement, and community.

The group is dedicated to the performance and celebration of Black music and tradition.

Join Columbia’s chapter of ColorStack, a nonprofit that helps minority computer science students.

Service and inclusion are emphasized over partisanship or politics.
