With leaders in town for the United Nations General Assembly, Columbia welcomed Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), to our World Leaders Forum to discuss issues like tackling poverty and promoting sustainable development with Columbia students, faculty, and staff. We also welcomed Gabriel Boric Font, President of the Republic of Chile; Lazarus Chakwera, President of Malawi; Garry Conille, Prime Minister of Haiti; Ertharin Cousin, Founder and CEO of Food Systems for the Future; Tô Lâm, President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam; KP Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of Nepal; and Jonas Gahr Støre, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway.
