As we celebrate Pride Month, Columbia News remembers the legacy of the Columbia Queer Alliance. Started in 1967, the organization, originally named the Student Homophile League, was the first known student gay rights group in the world. Here's a photo of a Columbia student promoting the Homophile League on Morningside campus circa late 1960s.
