Five Columbia medical students are putting on their white medical coats in front of six faculty members in white coats at Columbia's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons' White Coat Ceremony.

Columbia's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons welcomed and cloaked 140 medical students at its annual White Coat Ceremony, marking the 30th anniversary of the Arnold P. Gold White Coat Ceremony, which was named to honor the late professor of neurology and pediatrics. This iconic rite of passage reinforces a commitment to compassion and excellence in patient care. Congratulations to the Class of 2027!
