The Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons held its annual White Coat Ceremony, a rite of passage, last week on August 20. Faculty members assisted 140 members of the Class of 2025 in putting on their new coats, symbolically preparing them for their new challenge.

For the first time in the college's history, the class recited their own oath that emphasized a commitment to "acknowledge and embrace the diversity that exists within all communities."
