A lot happens behind the scenes to ensure that Columbia University's World Leaders Forum (WLF) events are seamless. This week, the university hosted President Zoran Milanović of the Republic of Croatia; Mark Carney, UN Special Envoy on Climate Action and Finance, and UK Prime Minister Johnson's Climate Finance Advisor for COP26; President Luis Arce Catacora of the Plurinational State of Bolivia; and President Vjosa Osmani of the Republic of Kosovo. Next week, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus will be speaking at a WLF event on the importance of strong public health systems for functioning societies.
