How do human rights defenders and movements sustain themselves under conditions of repression? What does it mean to practice collective care as part of the struggle for freedom and equality?

Join us for a conversation on the crucial role of care and well-being in ensuring the thrival of social movements. The talk will reflect on the speaker’s own journey from activism to centering care work, and how political grief and defeat can fragment and weaken movements.

The speakers will look at how collectives and organizations are building practices of resilience and support to counter these pressures and sustain their advocacy.
