"Learn how to use a Research Database to find scholarly research. Save time and maximize results.Databases are tools that should work for you. This workshop will compare three tools to compare how they work. Most likely: EBSCO, JSTOR, and Scopus. ProQuest can be substituted in depending on the attendees. This is intended for beginners to research,but all are welcome. You will learn about boolean operators, creating a search string, and selecting key terms. This tutorial taught by a social science librarian at Columbia University Libraries. Please register in advance so you can get the Zoom Link. Registration will close at 7am the day of. Please note: This workshop will not focus on CLIO or Zotero as there are separate workshops for these topics. All of these workshops work in harmony together and on their own."
