This annual event, now in its sixth year, brings our entire community together to support our patients, their families, and our Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center, with all proceeds helping to advance Columbia’s cancer research and care programs.
Velocity Day is a chance to celebrate this community and the commitment we all share to solving cancer. Whether you’re participating in person or virtually, on Velocity Day, we come together as one unstoppable force.
Velocity Riders will kick off the day at their designated start location with a moving opening ceremony, honoring members of our community. Then they’ll set off on their ride through the Hudson Valley, northern New Jersey, across the George Washington Bridge, and straight to the finish line at Columbia!
Your Way Participants are invited to come cheer on riders and celebrate with us at the Finish Line at Columbia University’s Herbert Irving Medical Center on October 2!
