Effective participant recruitment is crucial for advancing healthcare through clinical research, but participant recruitment remains challenging. This lecture explores the pivotal role of clinical research professionals (CRPs), such as coordinators and research assistants, in the eligibility prescreening process. By analyzing data from a free-listing survey of 150 CRPs across diverse fields like neurological disorders and rare diseases, the session will provide key insights into the information CRPs prioritize. We will discuss how domain-specific variations impact prescreening approaches and discover strategies for refining CRP training and prescreening tools to optimize recruitment while maintaining ethical standards.
