Crossing the Finish Line!

Columbia student from General Studies celebrating his graduation

April 30, 2021

The Class of 2021 includes more than 12,000 students from Columbia’s 18 schools and affiliates. They come from over 138 countries, include 182 military veterans, and range from a 19-year-old Columbia College student who earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics-statistics, to a 71-year-old School of the Arts graduate who completed an MFA in nonfiction writing. The graduating class also includes more than 400 Ph.D. holders and more than 8,000 master’s degree holders.

In this photo, an ebullient Jafar Tursunov (GS'21) walked in one of the several celebratory photo opportunities on campus this week.

Congratulations, Class of 2021!
