Documenting the Pandemic

As we mark the grim one year anniversary of coronavirus in New York City, we continue to acknowledge and document the impact that the pandemic has had on the city and Columbia. Through videos, oral histories, personal narratives, surveys and online platforms, Columbia is recording the stories and experiences of members of the Columbia community and beyond, from our students to frontline healthcare workers to our neighbors. Find out more about the projects here.

Lessons Learned

This Columbia News series invites the Columbia community to reflect on the pandemic and the insights, personal and professional, they have gained from their COVID-19 experience.

“We have a responsibility to not just record people’s experiences during this time, but to learn from them.”
